He was predeceased by: his parent Lauree Simmons; and his sister-in-law Bruce (Debbie Simmons). He is survived by: his grandson Preston Scout; his wife Bobbie Simmons of Jesup; his daughter Lynn Anderson of Odum; his children-in-law, Robert Anderson of Odum and Jon "Preston"; and also, Eagle Scout, Melissa Simmons of Jesup, Preston and Arden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
