John Oglesby Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2018, at the age of 67, John Oglesby (Jesup, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John David, Sr. and Josephine Bryant Oglesby Kittrell. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" James Oglesby of Jesup; his sons, Jonathon Oglesby (Jennifer) of Jesup and Nathan Oglesby of Springfield; his grandchildren, Courtney Weinman, Jordyn Oglesby and Katilyn Oglesby; his great grandchild Carter Manning; his siblings, Carolyn Harris, Linda Rowland (Joe), Faye Strickland (Bobby) of Guyton, Nancy Schaffer (Howard), Patricia Holmes (Lonnie) and Ray Oglesby (Lois) of Springfield; and his mother-in-law Judy James of Jesup. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins including special caretakers, Roger and Debra Oglesby; his faithful companion.
