She was predeceased by: her parents, D. L. Strickland and Mary Roberson Strickland; her husband Roger Poole; her son Tony Poole; and her brothers, Elmore and Johnny Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Carter of Jesup, Dale Poole of Jesup and Eric Poole of Jesup; her siblings, Sylvia Strickland of Screven, Eleanor Strickland of Jesup, Goldie Hodge of Macon and Dwight Strickland (Jan) of Macon; and her grandchildren, Jessica (Houston), Tina (Shawn), Nikki, April (John), Katie (Gamalier) and Josh (Emily). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
