With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Lee of Jesup, Georgia, born in Folkston, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Lee to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Franklin Lee and Ovie Harris Lee; his former wife Katie Drury Lee; his siblings, Vernon Franklin Lee, John Riley Lee, Catherine Lee Lloyd, Lila Lee McKay and Nellie Armstead Shakingbush; his half-brother Benjamin Hubert Lee; and his stepson Richard Franklin Crews.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Marie Lee (Jason Day) of Jesup and Lisa Marie Harris of Jesup; his stepchildren, Lamar Crews (Pam), Amanda Mason (Mike) of Hahira and Mike Drury (Brenda) of Folkston; his siblings, Rita Drury of Folkston and David Earl Lee of Folkston; and his caregivers, Shirley and Ted Thornton of Jesup. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home (777 S 1st St, Jesup, GA 31545). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
