He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Solomon and Mary Alice Solomon; and his brother Jack Solomon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gordon Solomon of Jesup; his daughters, Lisa McDaniel (J. J.) of Acworth and Sharon Melvin (William) of Buford; his siblings, Johnny Solomon (Pat) of Phoenix and Cathy Dowdy (Greg) of Bonaire; his granddaughters, Holly Melvin, Sarah and Hannah McDaniel; his great grandchild Noah Melvin; and his sister-in-law Dianne Owens Solomon of Jesup.
