She was predeceased by: her children, Jimmy Way and Angela Leggett. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Sapp (Kenny) of Screven and Thomas "Pat" Way, Jr. (Cori) of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Eleanor Thompson; and her caregivers, Penny Carroll and Teresa Harper. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her faithful K9 companion.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery (3357 Lanes Bridge Rd, Jesup, GA 31545).
