He was predeceased by: his sons, Dale and Mitch Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wiggins Hodges of Jesup; his children, Rena Conner (Quincy) of Jesup, Randy Fennel (Kim) of Issauah, Raymond Fennel (Kim) of Peachtree City, Rusty Hodges (Melody) of Jesup and Ryan Hodges (Sheila) of Waycross; and his siblings, Vernon Hodges of Jesup, Gary Hodges of Jesup, Timmy Hodges of Douglasville, Allen Hodges of Bloomingdale and Martha Helms of Milledgeville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
