He was predeceased by: his wife Irene S. Mobley; and his son Robert James Mobley, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Kaye Strickland (Dobie) of Brunswick and Virginia Kaye Walden (Richard) of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Mikey Johnson (Felecia), Heidi Tyler, Betty Strickland, James Walden (Mia), April Turner (Kenneth), Stacey Miller, Christina Lee (James), Robert Mobley, Jr., Martey Roberson and Amber Durrence (Jonathan); his siblings, Bonnell Lewis, Janice Howell (Jim), Ermine Whitley, Mary Weaver (Walter), Glenda Fletcher (Bruce), Clarence Mobley and Steve Clark (Erlene); and his daughter Julie Dugger. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
