He was predeceased by: his mother Fanny Lou Wynn; his grandmother Lilly Mae Hearn; and his niece Hannah Jordan Newport. He is survived by: his sister Glenda King of Seymour; and his nieces, Crystal Newport and Sheila Hittman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
