It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Jeanett Evors (Jesup, Georgia), who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baxter Eason and Mildred Louise Blocker Eason; her siblings, Robert Eason (Mona) and Juanita Cox; and her brother-in-law Charles Burch.
She is survived by: her husband Bishop Eugene Talmadge Evors of Screven; her children, Dede Evors Jordan (Dewayne) of Rincon, Darrell Evors (Amy) of Blackshear and Don Evors (Anja) of Blackshear; her siblings, Darvin Eason (Nancy) of Lenox, Georgia and Louise Burch of St. Marys, Georgia; her brother-in-law Sammy Cox; her grandchildren, Tyler Evors (Laura Jane), Jacob Evors (Hannah) of Luke Evors, D. J, Jordan (Brianne), Erin Evors Jordan (Thomas), Emma-Leigh Evors and Ethan Evors (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Whittaker Evors, Oliver Evors, Lynleigh Evors, Andrew Jordan and Seth Jordan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home (777 S 1st St, Jesup, GA 31545). An entombment was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Screven City Cemetery (303 Odum Screven Rd, Screven, GA 31560).
