She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eula Mae Herndon, Charlie and Roy Lee Beasley; and her grandchildren, Pamela "Dee" Oglesbee and Lee Solomon.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Lynn of Jesup, Brenda Peabody (Tim) of Statesboro, Hymie "Bubba" Smith of Ludowici, Cynthia Griffis (Chris) of Odum, John Smith of Ludowici, Robert Smith of Jesup, Teresa McCrary (Jeffrey DeSimone) of Ludowici, Raquel McGinnis (Larry) of Ft. Payne and Tina Stephens (Paul) of Jesup; and her sister Mary Ann Edge (W. T.) of Vidalia. She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
