He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Graham Heckwine of Jesup; his children, Carl Heckwine of Jacksonville, Fla. and Deborah Harrison of Waycross; his granddaughter Nicole Harrison; his sister Kathleen Lybarger of Illinois; and also Donnie Harrison of Brantley. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
