He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frieda Stanford and Ralph Bacon. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Allen; his daughters, Vickie Thompson (Truett) of Jasper, Molly Whetzel (Greg) of Williamsburg and Livia McMahon (Michael) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Jereme Breedlove (Richard) of Watkinsville, Allison Neal (Brian) of Jasper, Brittany Meissner (Mike) of Pacolet, SC, Cameron McCarthy (Zac) of Greer, SC, Hamilton Buchanan of Vail, Ryan McMahon (Lexi) of Glenville, WV, Ben McMahon and Dylan McMahon of Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Ansley, Hadley Breedlove of Watkinsville, Ryley, Coleton Neal of Jasper, Viola and Sylvia Meissner of Pacolet, SC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
