He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carlene Allen Tanner; his children, Mary McMaster (Jerry) of Jesup, Kay Mathis (Joe) of Jesup and Frank Tanner, Jr. (Nancy) of Ludowici; his sisters, Carrie Bratka of Alma, Irma Sue De-Lois, Winfred Pope of Jacksonville and Faye Thomas (Randall) of Waycross; and his grandsons, Brian Smith, Carl, Dustin Mathis and Dylan Tanner. He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.
