He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley and Rosella Smith Boatright of Alma; his son Charles Danny Boatright; his great great grandchild Jaxon Frank Taylor; and his siblings, Ray, Truit Boatright, Warnell Loper and Idell Leggett.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Boatright of Jesup; his daughters, Patsy Hayes of Jesup, Sue Blocker (L. H.) of Jesup and Ellen Taylor (Bill) of Jesup; his daughter-in-law Pat Boatright of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Dana Simbra of Jesup, Kristie Hayes of Jesup, Jan Taylor of Jesup, Jennifer, Stephanie Boatright of Woodstock, Chris, Colby Blocker of Warner Robins, Billy Taylor of Jesup and Charlie Boatright of Woodstock; his great grandchildren, Courtney Crabb of St. Simons Island, Katlin Teston of St. Simons Island, Isabela Simbra of Jesup, Hannah Taylor of Jesup, Ella Grace Taylor of Jesup, Patrick Taylor of Chickamauga and Jessie Taylor of Atlanta; and his great great grandchild Blythe Crabb of St. Simons Island. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
