We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2020, at the age of 75, Eddie Edge (Jesup, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thomas and Eva Pearl Edge; his wife Velma Edge; his son Tony Edge; his son-in-law Carl Hillyard; his siblings, Bill Edge, Floyd Edge, Elijah Edge, Elisha Edge, Gladys Brantley, Hilda Mae Ward and Sue Chavis; and his brother-in-law Festus Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, June Hillyard (Chris Strickland) of Jesup and Stacey Britton of Aiken; his grandchildren, Bryan Hillyard (Kelley), Timothy Hillyard (Magan), Ryleigh Hillyard, Kristin Grantham (Jerald), Walter Edge (Christina), Anthony Bolin (Heather), Tayler Faulkner (Jeremy), Savannah Faulkner and Eli Britton; his siblings, Walteen Carter of Odum and Walter Thomas Edge (Mary Ann) of Kibbee, Georgia; and his half-siblings, Johnny Ward, Joel Ward, Harris Ward and Jan Frost. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, family services and visitation will be held privately at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Reverend Kenny Edge officiating.
