He was predeceased by: his parents, Preacher Thornton and Shirlie Thornton; his sister Sherry; and his brother-in-law Dwayne Wasdin. He is survived by: his wife Tina; his son Bailey (Brandi) of Odum; his grandson Beckett; and his sisters, Dixie Poppell (Frank) of Denver, CO and Shellie Gay Bohannon (Mitchell) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
