She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene J. Hammock and Lessie Hall Hammock; her husband Carl Avery House; her son Calvin Edward House; her siblings, James Carlton Hammock, Hazel Singleton and Hilda Claxton; and her grandson Christopher P. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Marie Smith (Joel) of Jesup and Carlette Bragg (Jim) of Faulkville; her sister Jean Donnelly of Statesboro; her siblings-in-law, Dallas Claxton of Rincon and Billye Hammock of Rincon; her grandchildren, Brian Lee Stafford and Melinda Von Kurtzbach; and her granddaughter-in-law Tanya Smith of Jesup. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews.
