He is survived by: his siblings, Apostle Johnny Thomas (Ida), Deacon Earl Thomas (Emma), Danny Scott, Bessie Thomas Harvey, Evangelist Dorothy Davis (James), Rudene Collins, Gayletha Everett (George), Deloise Lane (Harry), Joyce Thomas, Pearl Lanier (Bobby), Kizzie Spearman (Earnest) and Della Costen (Travis); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Thomas; and his close friend Carolyn Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
