He is survived by: his wife Janet Shaver Carter of Jesup; his children, Cameil Carter of Vail, Arizona and Kyle Carter of Vail, Arizona; his grandson Tate Carter of Jesup; his brothers, Nicky Carter and Mike Carter (Sharon); and his half-brother Jimmy Carter (Joan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
