He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna Manning; his children, Sabrina Manning, Dorothy Weathers and Ray Jones; his parents, Willie Houston and Evelyn Manning; his siblings, Sandra Sellers, Willie "Bill" Houston, Jr., Doyle and Coyle Manning; and his grandchildren, Jason Purvis and Lisa Purvis.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Crews Manning; his children, Sherry Ann Willis (Robert), Selena Jones, Don Manning (Monica) and John Gordon Manning; his sisters, Shirley Droze (Darryl) and Jane Miller; and his close friend Elwanda Johnson Hopkins. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546).
