She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Cates and Leonard Harper; and her brothers, Doug Harper and Chuck Cates. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Summerall (J.), Jamie August and Daniel Thibodeaux; her stepmother Hazel Harper; her siblings, Phyllis Brown (Ronnie), Sue Lamb, Shirley Harper and Michael Harper; her grandchildren, Erin, Jill, Wyatt, Jenny, Maci and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Elias, Genesis, Clair, Cohen, Nicholas and Christopher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
