He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Owens and Callie Owens; his wife Elda Thornton Owens of Jesup; his children, Tyne Owens of Jesup, Ceirra Owens of Jesup, Reggie Owens of Jesup and Damion Owens of Jesup; and his sisters, Diane Carter (Decker) of Jesup and Glenda Kit of Kinston, NC. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
