He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene Mixon and Mildred Mixon; his sisters, Bobbie Laney and Glenda Cameron; the mother of his child Juanita Mansfield; his daughter Mindy Melissa Mixon of Jesup; his grandsons, Triston and Dillon Anderson; his brother Carson Mixon (Jessa) of Hortense; his nieces and nephews, Melony Osterhoudt, Michael Bobo (Amy), Deven Mixon (Candace) and Ginger Perkins (Mike); and his close friends, Warren Whidden, Wayne Scott, Wendell Williamson, Dean Thompson and Joel Greene.
