He was predeceased by: his parent Opal Fetner; his stepmother Margaret Strickland; his brothers, David Strickland and Dwain Strickland; and his aunt Ruby Lee Strickland.
He is survived by: his sons, Dwayne Strickland (Robin) of Plaquemine and Eric Strickland (Amanda) of Quinton; and his grandchildren, Tylar Strickland, Jackson Strickland, Camilla Strickland and Marshall Strickland.
