She was predeceased by: her godparents, Donald and Ruth Horton; her parents, Gerald Richard and Juanita Landon Bennett; her son Dean Thompson, Jr.; and her siblings, Kay Geiger and Alan Bennett.
She is survived by: her son Jody Thompson; the parent of her child Dean Thompson, Sr. of Jesup; her grandchildren, Brooke Kinna (Keith) of Jesup, Dylan Thompson of Screven and Madison Darden (Daniel) of Jesup; her great grandchildren, Katee, Kennedy, Maxen and Docton; her siblings, Fran Palmer and Ricky Bennett (Patty); and her close friend David Harrelson of Jesup. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
