She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Michael Cheek; and her sister Winifred M. Griffis. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Cheek of Jesup; her daughter Angie Marple (Darrell) of Jesup; her stepmother Jean Manning of Jesup; her grandchildren, Ashley Seago, Christina Yarbrough (Justin), Justin Lynn and Jacob Marple; and her siblings, Paula Tyson and Paul Warner Manning. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
