He is survived by: his wife Irene Poppell Kirkland of Jesup; his daughters, Shirley Faulk (Mike) of Jesup, Lona Newbern (Alan) of Sparks and Miracle Priester of Jesup; his brothers, Tommy Leroy Kirkland of Jesup and William "Bill" Kirkland of Jesup; and his grandchildren, Autumn Henderson, Bridgett Woodard, Robbie Moody and Faith Priester. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
