She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Gardner and Stella Gardner; her spouse Sidney Rowett; her daughters, Beverly Thomas (Richard) and Barbara Grice (Richard); and her siblings, Violet Thurston and Robert Gardner Jr.. She was also cherished by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons.
