He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Moody and Ida Mae McDonald Moody; and his siblings, Willie Moody, Harry Moody, Warden Moody, Marvin Moody, Annie Deloach, Dorothy Surrency, Violet Cail and Joy Wingate.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Ray Moody of Jesup; his children, Debbie Pye (Don) of Odum and Jerry Moody (Shelba) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Kimberly McCall (Paul), Brian Christopher Pye, Brent Pye, Terri Ann Yawn (Travis Rubel), Christy Efaw (Jonathan) and Blake Pye; and his great grandchildren, Tristin, Alexia, Wesley, Shelby McCall, Skylar Efaw and Charlie Anna Efaw. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
