He was predeceased by: his former wife Hyeok Smith; and his brother Bobby Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Parkinson Smith of Jesup; his stepdaughters, Sandra Ensling (Adam), Karen Ruth Brown, Debra Marie Harris and Becky Morosky (Kirk); and his sisters, Sally Greenamyer, Susan Mitchell and Robin Vest. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
