He is survived by: his sisters, Faye Dent of Jesup, GA and Bobbie Padgett of Pooler, GA; his nieces, Debbie Lettow (Andy) of Statesboro and Kellie Williams (Cameron); his nephew David Padgett (Buffie) of Statesboro; his son Charles Lakey of Tennessee; and his nieces, Paige and Holly.
