He was predeceased by: his daughter Gina Swartzlander. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mathis Swartzlander of Jesup; and his children, Kevin Swartzlander (Kim) of Brunswick, Cindy Swartzlander (Phil Jackson) of Screven and Heather Edenfield (Derek) of Jesup. He is also survived by several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
