It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Magee of Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Leonard Calvin Ussery and Cheryl Jean Smith. She is survived by: her husband Elmer "Karate" Lawrence Magee, III of Jesup; her children, Charles Felton Ussery of Waycross, James Chester Ussery (Grace) of Jesup, Charlotte Ann Jones (Tom) of Jesup and Cherrie Lee Thompson (Eric) of Brunswick; and her children-in-law, Rene'Ussery of Jesup and Joe Smith of Valdosta. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
