He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy "Dot" Spell; and his sisters, Glenda "Gwen" Strickland and Paulette Harrell. He is survived by: his father Melvin Spell; his wife Mary Spell of Jesup; his children, Angie Roberson (Charles) of Landis, NC, Sonya Leggett (Charles, Jr.) of Jesup, Crystal Melendez (Eric) of Brunswick and Gregory Allen Spell (Shannon) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Codey, Dusty, Ryan, Eric, Derrick, Jocelyn, Dustin, Brittany and Joseph; and his siblings, Jean Bennett (John) of Jesup, David and Curtis Spell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rinehart Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
