He is survived by: his wife Angela Marie Murphy; his children, Michael Brandon Murphy of Lovejoy, Caleb William Jackson of Jenkinsburg and Sienna Marie Jackson of Jenkinsburg; his mother Bettye Jo Murphy of Lovejoy; and his cousins, Adrian Murphy Masingill, Joe Murphy, Edward Murphy, Brian Brock, Shannon Exum and Dawn Exum Holman.
