It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Fidelis Whitaker of Jenkinsburg, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Irby and Inez Brown Ridley; her husband Glen Lamar Whitaker; and her siblings-in-law, Mack Whitaker, Joe Ricky Whitaker, Michael Lee Whitaker and Ruby Fauscett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Aukerman (Tim Aukerman) and Sherry Whitaker; her grandchildren, Dillon Whitaker (Amanda Whitaker), Justin Akins and Ashlee Aukerman; her great grandchildren, Mason Lamar Barnes and Aria Akins; her siblings-in-law, Carl Whitaker (Dorothy Whitaker) and Patsy Whitaker Maddox (Bryan Maddox); and her friend Hazel Collins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
