It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Wilkey of Jenkinsburg, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Noel and Margie Marie Millsaps Wilkey; and his son Greg Wilkey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wilkey; his children, Diana Pierce of Jenkinsburg, Pam Whaley (Jeff) of Cullman, AL and Jason Wilkey (Heather) of Douglasville; his grandchildren, Kaysi Pierce, Donnie Caldwell, Brandon Whaley, Kyle Wilkey, Austin Wilkey, Gabbye Nelson and Brittany Nelson; and his sisters, Delores Thurman (Quillen) of Hickson, TN, Linda Pickett of Signal Mountain, TN, Freddie Deakins of Hickson, TN, Sara Burris (Jim) of Soddy Daisey, TN and Debra Parino (Ben) of Athens, AL.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
