He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Floyd and Alberta F. Floyd; his siblings, Elizabeth F. Wood, Andrew Floyd, Holbert Floyd, Jordan Floyd and Tommy Floyd; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Wood Sr. and Johnny B. Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sims Floyd; his daughter Renee McCoy (Tony); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Micah Smith, Katie Axtel (Mike), Sarah Smith (Robert) and Johnathan McCoy; his great grandchild Toni Smith; his sister Julia Agnes F. Lynn; and his sister-in-law Patty Jean Floyd.
