He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fred Watson and Elizabeth "Betty" Tate Watson; and his sisters, Norma Jean Watson and Linda Watson Young. He is survived by: his sons, James Stephen "Jamie" Watson, II and Christopher Paul Watson (Nikki); his stepson Ronnie Little, Jr. (Laura); his grandchildren, Jaylin Watson, Jordan Watson, Tristan Watson, Meadow Adams, Weston Watson, River Watson, Jake Little and Morgan Little; and his siblings, Bill Watson (Shelia), John Watson, Shirley Jones (Doug), Theresa Sanders (Hoyt), Patsy Sams, Barbara Keasler (Terry) and Angie Hanson (Randy).
