He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Mary Lucille Cooper Warren; his son Jack Scarborough; his grandson Stephen Hunter Grenade; and his siblings, Jerry Warren, Ricky Warren and Brenda Pittman.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda S. Warren; his children, James Robert Warren, Jr. (Ashley), Diane Grenade (Stephen) and Debra Warren (Wayne Garner); and his siblings, Billy Warren (Gene), Roger Warren, Johnny Warren, Lee Warren (Judy), Mike Warren, Betty Pittman (Johnny), Cathy Graham (Ricky) and Lisa Berryhill (John).
