We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2020, at the age of 87, William Neely of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Neely to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard Neely and Ruth Woodson Neely; and his sons, Joseph Tatara and Gene Tatara. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Muhn Neely of Jefferson; his children, William Richard Neely of Commerce, Dorothy Neely of Houston and Gilliam Batchelder (Bob) of Dunlap, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Ann Austin (Rodney) of Jefferson, Chris Carter (Kim) of Marietta, Holly Gragg (Elijah) of Cosby and Kyrysta Sheets (Cody) of Habersham.
Those attending are ask to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia Guideline concerning the coronavirus.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be made to the Peoples Baptist Church Building Fund, 900 Doster Road, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
