He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lester Rutledge and Della Carden Rutledge. He is survived by: his wife Lois Rutledge of Jefferson; his daughter Teresa Swaim (John) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Joseph Walter Swaim (Kristie) of Maysville, Jacob Norris Swaim (Lesley) of Dawsonville and Jennifer Rose Swaim of Gainesville; and his great grandchildren, Avery Rae Swaim and Maverick Jake Swaim. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
