He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Harvey Strickland and Jimmie Ray Coleman Strickland; and his daughters, Kristal Strickland Doss, Stacey Strickland Kapps and Sue-Anne Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Bobisue Sims Strickland of Jefferson; his grandson Terry Dean Strickland (Buddy) of Jefferson; his daughter Cindy Strickland Ruggerio of Carmel; and his siblings, Lou Ann Coleman of Eastman, Jim Strickland (Jeri) of Gainesville and Wade Strickland (Sandy) of Kennesaw.
