It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonya Usry of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sonya Usry to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse "Algernon" Usry; her parents, Pauline Faglier Rooks and James Lamar Rooks; and her siblings, Voncile Rooks, James "Buddy" Rooks, Ethredge Rooks, Joyce Dixon, Jimmie Clark, Shelby Harden and John Owen Rooks.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Usry, Keith Usry and Rhonda Smith (Bobby); her grandchildren, Chandler Smith and Sadie Smith; her sisters, Wiladean Kuykendall and Virginia Stanfield; her cousin Margaret Rooks; and her friend Jean Huddleston. She is also survived by other extended family, church family and friends.
