She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sanders and Willie Vickery Sanders; her husband Bobby Joe Whitworth; and her siblings, Melvin, Kenneth Sanders and Shirley S. Shirley.
She is survived by: her son Bobby K. Whitworth (Gale) of Jefferson; her sister Wilma Howard of Hilton Head, SC; and her grandchildren, Kenny Whitworth (Angela), Chris Whitworth, Al Whitworth (Stephanie), Eric Whitworth (Celia), Lindsey Whitworth and Leah Pavel (Josh). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
