With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy Gene Meeler of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on May 20, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Plumer Meeler; and his daughter Sandy Standridge. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Shubert (Terry) of Commerce; and his siblings, Fred Meeler, Tom Meeler and Doris Morris-Anglin of Baldwin. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
