It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Joiner of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold B. Stewart and Christine Carver Stewart; and her husband James V. Joiner, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jay Joiner (Christina) of Jefferson and Kelli Porter (Brantley) of Jefferson; and her grandchildren, Cannon Joiner, Price Joiner, Tradd Porter (Lisa) and Camille Porter.
