He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Harris and Inez Walker Harris; his brother James P. Harris; and his great grandchild Cheyenne Hewell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Stevens Harris; his daughters, Janice H. Minish (Terry), Janet Ludgar (Edgar) of Plano, TX and Angela H. Hewell; his grandchildren, Travis Hewell (Carrie Ann), Brad Hewell, Andrew Minish (Lakyn), Grant Ludgar of Plano, TX, Abby Rogers (Jeff) and Brenna Ludgar (Hector Orellana) of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Renee Daniel, Rileigh Hewell, Savannah Hewell, Aubree Hewell, Harrison Rogers and Harper Rogers; his siblings, Lenora Rogers and Charles Harris (Janie) of Anderson, SC.; and his siblings-in-law, John Stevens, Lester Stevens, Bessie Minish, Ola Parsons, Nora Waters, Mary Allen and Mildred Bell.
