We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Peggy Shumake (Jefferson, Georgia), born in Athens, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ben Taylor Sorrow of Danielsville; and her sister Shirley Sorrow (Douglas Edward Shumake). She is survived by: her parent Catherine Allen Sorrow of Danielsville; her children, Jeff Shumake (Melody) of Jefferson, Kim Logan (Lin) of Greensboro and Troy Shumake (Frances) of Commerce; her brother William Taylor Sorrow of Easley; and also Doug Shumake (Lori) of Jefferson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Peggy Ann Sorrow Shumake to the Jackson County Senior Center, 151 Stan Evans Drive, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
